What does “Farm to Table” actually look like? What does it mean to have a genuine connection to the land? How do you define fresh, organic, and healthy? Chef Shawn envisioned how one could grow a restaurant from a farm, one whose menu changes with the seasons just as the crops do, a kitchen built on the same land that the seeds of its ingredients were sewn. That vision became The Kitchen at White Barn. The Kitchen specializes in Neopolitan style pizza, staying true to the art and chemistry of traditional dough making but revolutionizing flavor and toppings by making use of the fresh produce often harvested the same week or day pizzas are served. The Kitchen is not only devoted to executing a top quality culinary product, but partners with other farms, growers, and breweries throughout New England to promote the importance of a local, communal emphasis on food and sustainability. But at the end of the day, we just like cooking for you. The dough must go on!
